About this service
This event is over. The Camo Costume Party ran from September 17 to October 8, 2026, and its camos cannot be earned any more. The page stays up as a record of what the event contained. For camos you can still get, see MW4 camo boosting or the Warzone camo boost.
The BO7 Multiplayer event camos are the Multiplayer set of the Camo Costume Party, Black Ops 7's Season 6 event: Gray Matter as the base camo and Grubs, the animated mastery camo for clearing all nine Multiplayer weapon class challenges. A verified pro plays them in real Multiplayer lobbies on your account, and the Arcblade unlocks on the way.
What is the Grubs camo?
Grubs is orange worms crawling over the whole gun, animated in game, and it is the Multiplayer mastery camo of the event. It is universal, so it goes on any gun, and it pays 10,000 XP when it unlocks. Gray Matter, the base camo of the set, comes with it.

Multiplayer is the streak-heavy corner of the event. One challenge per weapon class:

Why Multiplayer stalls people
The streak challenges. Kills without dying with a shotgun or LMG and kills without taking damage with a Marksman Rifle mean every bad spawn ends the run you were building. SBMM does not help either: play well and the next lobby gets sweatier. Most players get the easy classes done in an evening and then sit on the last two or three for days. The pro just plays them out, match after match, until Grubs pops.
Gray Matter is not Dark Matter
Easy mix-up in search. Gray Matter is the base camo of this Multiplayer set. Dark Matter was the top Multiplayer mastery camo in Black Ops 6 and older Black Ops games, and it is not in Black Ops 7, where the top Multiplayer mastery camo is Singularity. Gray Matter and Grubs are event camos, separate from that permanent track (Shattered Gold, Arclight, Tempest, Singularity), and you can only earn them while the event runs. If it is the Dark Matter look you are after, that is Oozed, the event's secret camo for finishing all four modes: BO7 Oozed camo.
Timing and the deadline
A Multiplayer order is about 8 hours of play, usually 1 to 2 days. The camos go when the event goes, and the in-game countdown points to October 8. We schedule against that date and keep the progress visible in your order chat.

Is there a Dark Matter camo in BO7?
No. Dark Matter was the top Multiplayer mastery camo in Black Ops 6, and Black Ops 7 calls its top Multiplayer mastery camo Singularity. Gray Matter, the base camo in this package, is a different camo with a similar name. If you want the Dark Matter look, that is Oozed, the secret camo and hardest reward of the current event.
