BO7 Season 6 The Haunting: Every Map, Mode, Camo and Event

The Haunting is back, and Season 6 is the last full season of Black Ops 7 before Modern Warfare 4 lands on October 23. It went live on September 17 at 9 AM PT across Black Ops 7 and Warzone. Here is everything in it, mode by mode, and which parts have a deadline.

The short version

• Warzone: Haven's Hollow becomes Haunted Hollow, with a 64 player Giant Infected mode on it.
• Multiplayer: two new maps, Quantum and Bloodstead, plus T.E.D.D. Trials and Hordepoint.
• Zombies: Tenshu, a new Survival map, new Rogue Run pedestal rewards and pumpkin headed zombies.
• Endgame: Avalon at night and the Forbidden Summoning world event.
• Weapons: TR51 Para assault rifle, VMP SMG, Arcblade melee weapon, Roc 20mm special weapon.
• Camos: over 45 this season, most of them universal. Nine of them belong to the Camo Costume Party event, which ends before MW4 launches.

Warzone: Haunted Hollow and Giant Infected

Haven's Hollow is rethemed for the season. A Ghost Train runs through it, cosmic tentacles fill the skyline, the Mansion foyer has a gravity vortex, the Lumbermill burns, and the drained Pond shows eldritch sigils underneath. It is the same map you know with new routes and a lot of new reasons to look up.

Giant Infected is the mode built for it: 64 players, eight of them Infected from the start. Survivors collect DNA samples to build and arm a DNA Bomb, Infected hunt them down and get stronger the longer they live, with faster movement, more health and a super jump. Fall as a Survivor and you join the horde.

Season 6 also brings new Winstreak camos, earned from consecutive wins:

Activision's own note is worth repeating: Season 6 is the last chance to play Black Ops Royale, so the Crimson Omen and Contagion camos go with it.

Resurgence Ranked Play returns for a shortened competitive season with its own six Ranked camos, Gold through Top 250.

Multiplayer: Quantum, Bloodstead and Zombies maps in 6v6

Quantum is a narrow map inside a Guild quantum computing facility buried in Arctic ice. Bloodstead is the other new one, built around unexplainable horrors, and both arrive at launch.

T.E.D.D. Trials is the limited-time mode that brings three Zombies maps, Roadkill, Lost and Inferno, into 6v6 Multiplayer for the first time in Black Ops 7. Teams race through a rotating set of five trials, and Ray Guns are in play against the horde. Hordepoint follows in-season: hold the objective and it turns the tide.

Multiplayer Ranked Play gets its own Season 6 rewards, including Rank Skins, Win Challenge rewards, and the six seasonal Ranked camos from Gold up to Top 250.

Zombies: Tenshu, Rogue Run and pumpkins

Tenshu is the new Survival map, set in the Masaki family's castle at Kowakujō. You hold the central keep, fight shambling samurai and hit round milestones for rewards.

Rogue Run gets three new pedestal rewards: Pack-a-Punch Tier IV, an Ultra-Rarity weapon upgrade and Golden Armor, whose plates regenerate over time. Casual and Hardcore playlists arrive for Paradox Junction and Kowakujō.

For the season, pumpkin headed zombies appear across all Rogue Run playlists, with pumpkin pedestal rewards to match, and the round-based maps hide a new surprise: a Super Easter Egg that unlocks The Warden as a playable Operator.

Endgame: Avalon after dark

The Haunting brings night to Avalon, which changes how Activities and Assignments play. The season's world event is the Forbidden Summoning: unlock the seals, free what is behind them, and bring backup, because the rewards scale with what you survive.

Endgame also picks up new Dark Ops challenges, five Prestige Title challenges and a final Endgame Operator skin for the players who finish everything.

The new weapons

Four new base weapons arrive through the Battle Pass and in-game events:

• TR51 Para assault rifle
• VMP submachine gun, back from the Black Ops days
• Arcblade melee weapon, the reward for any nine Camo Costume Party challenges
• Roc 20mm special weapon, from the DOOM Event Pass

New attachments come from Weekly Challenges through the season.

Every camo source in Season 6

Over 45 camos are earnable this season, and Activision says most of them are universal, so they go on any weapon. Where they come from:

The ones with a hard deadline are the event camos. The Camo Costume Party ends on October 8, per the in-game countdown and GameRant's report, and those nine camos cannot be earned afterwards. Battle Pass, BlackCell and the DOOM Event Pass

The Season 6 Battle Pass is led by Blackjack and holds over 100 rewards, up to 1,100 COD Points and two new base weapons. It costs 1,100 COD Points, and BlackCell is the upgraded version with its own camo challenges.

The DOOM Event Pass runs alongside it. The free track pays out an Operator skin for Wei Lin, a 1-hour Double Weapon XP token, stickers, a Doom 1993 large decal, a Mini Slayer weapon charm and the Roc 20mm special weapon. The premium track adds the Doom Slayer Operator, the Rend AN-94 blueprint, the Tear M10 Breacher blueprint, the BFG Siren blueprint, an Evisceration finishing move and more.

What to do first, with two weeks of season left before MW4

• Start with the event camos. Everything else in the season stays. The nine Camo Costume Party camos do not.
• Win streaks take the longest. Fifty consecutive Resurgence wins for Neon Nightmare is the kind of thing that decides itself in the last week.
• Black Ops Royale is leaving. If you want Crimson Omen and Contagion, this is the season.
• Ranked resets anyway. The Ranked camos come with placement and rank, so they are the ones you can still chase after MW4 lands.
