What are MW4 Monster Energy codes?

Call of Duty Monster Energy codes, also searched as MW4 Monster Energy codes or Monster Energy keys, are promotional codes from the official Monster Energy x Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 partnership. Normally you get one under the tab of a specially marked can. We hand you the code directly, so you skip the drink run and the QR scan and go straight to the rewards.

How the promotion actually works

It is a points ladder, and that is the part most people get wrong. Every qualifying can carries one point plus 15 minutes of Double XP. The points are what unlock the cosmetics, the Double XP just stacks alongside them.

• Points 1 to 6 each unlock one reward. Six codes, six rewards.
• Every code after that keeps adding 15 minutes of Double XP, up to the 40 hour cap. That cap lands at 160 codes.
• The 161st code is the top of the ladder and earns a DLC code for a separate Mystery Item. 161 is also the ceiling the promotion allows per account.

The MW4 Monster Energy hidden reward

The sixth reward is the one everyone is searching for. Monster calls it the Mystery Item, most players call it the MW4 Monster Energy hidden reward, and it is the same thing: reward number six on the ladder, revealed later in the promotion.

Two things get mixed up constantly here, so to be clear:

• The hidden reward at point 6 is part of the normal ladder. Six cans, six tabs, six codes, six rewards. It is included in the 6 code bundle.
• A second hidden reward sits at code 161 and is a separate DLC code. That one is not redeemed on the spot, because Monster has not announced its drop date.

The 161 code tier

The 161st code earns a DLC code for a separate Mystery Item, and that one is not redeemed straight away: Monster has not announced its drop date yet, so you hold the code until they do. We will not guess at a date, and you should be wary of anyone who does.

People search this as 161 Monster Energy codes, 161 cans or 161 tabs. The 161 bundle is the whole promotion in one purchase: all six rewards, the full 40 hours of Double XP, and the 161st code that reaches the top tier. There is nothing above it to buy, because 161 is the per-account ceiling.

Which cans count

The promotion runs on 16 oz cans of Monster Energy Original, Zero Sugar and Zero Ultra. If you are buying codes from us, the can is irrelevant, but it is worth knowing if you also plan to pick some up yourself.

Single codes or a bundle

Two ways to buy. Single codes if you want a specific amount, with the volume discount growing the more you take. Or a bundle, which is one price for a fixed set: 6 codes for the full first tier, or 161 codes for the complete promotion.

Promotion timeline

• September 1, 2026: the marked Monster Energy Call of Duty cans go on sale and the promotion starts.
• October 23, 2026: Modern Warfare 4 launches. Your Double XP goes to work on the Day 1 level rush and the cosmetics land on your MW4 account.
• March 31, 2027: the promotion ends. No new points after that.
• April 30, 2027: the last day codes stay redeemable. After that they expire, so do not sit on them.
