How weapon prestige works in MW4

Weapon Prestige opens once a gun hits its max level, and it is optional. Entering it resets the gun to level 1 and relocks its attachments, except Apex and Blueprint attachments. Shared attachments on your other guns stay unlocked, and camos, blueprints, reticles, decals and stickers stay too. Max the gun again in Weapon Prestige 1 and it moves into Weapon Prestige Master on its own, where it keeps leveling without another reset.
