MW4 Mastery Camos: All Multiplayer, Warzone & DMZ Camos

Here is how the MW4 camo grind looks based on the reveal.

How the MW4 camo grind works

MW4 uses a shared camo progression across Multiplayer, Warzone and DMZ. You work a weapon's camos across those modes, and that opens into the mastery camos.

From there you have nine mastery camos in total: three for Multiplayer, three for Warzone and three for DMZ. On top of that there is a separate set of four Pyroclast camos.

The names are out from the beta reveal. The exact unlock challenges are not announced yet, and which single camo per mode is the very top pinnacle, versus the lower tiers on the way there like Gold and Diamond in older CoDs, is not fully nailed down. We will update this post as Activision confirms the details.

The nine mastery camos (plus the Pyroclast set)

Here they are, grouped by mode.

Multiplayer

Mercurial Drift. A brand new MW4 camo.

Polyatomic Reforged. The Polyatomic name from MW2 (2022), redesigned for MW4.

Orion Reforged. The Orion name from MW2 (2022), redesigned for MW4.

Warzone

Parallax. A brand new MW4 Warzone camo.

Damascus Reforged. The Damascus name from MW 2019, shown under Warzone this time.

Empyros. A brand new MW4 Warzone camo.

DMZ

DMZ returns as a full mode in MW4, with its own camos.

Chiral. A new DMZ camo.

Ripple Tide. A new DMZ camo.

Helio. A new DMZ camo.

Pyroclast set

Four Pyroclast camos were also shown. Some think these tie into Prestige or the co-op side, but that is not confirmed either.

Returning names to watch

A few names come back from older Modern Warfare titles, redesigned for MW4:

• Polyatomic Reforged and Orion Reforged come back from MW2 (2022) and were shown under Multiplayer.
• Damascus Reforged brings back the MW 2019 Damascus name, shown under Warzone this time.

Old requirements are no guide here. MW4 has its own camo system, and again, which of these ends up as a mastery camo is not confirmed.

What we actually know about unlocking them

Very little is locked in yet. Activision has shown the camos but not the challenge list, and not which tier each camo sits at. The exact weapon counts and conditions have not been announced. We will drop them into this post as soon as they are live, most likely around the October 23 launch.

Can you get them in the beta?

The camos were shown during the beta, but the full grind has not been confirmed as available in the beta itself. Right now the beta is your early chance to try MW4 weapons, unlock attachments and grab beta rewards. The real camo grind is expected at or shortly after launch.
