How to Get the Oozed Camo in BO7: The Secret Camo That Looks Like Dark Matter

Oozed is the secret camo of the Camo Costume Party event in Black Ops 7 Season 6. You unlock it by finishing all four mode mastery camos, Gravebloom in Co-Op and Endgame, Grubs in Multiplayer, Malignant in Zombies and Death Row in Warzone, which means all 36 weapon class challenges. The event ends on October 8 and Oozed cannot be earned after that. Black Ops 7 has no Dark Matter camo, Singularity replaced it, and Oozed is the closest look to Dark Matter in the game.
Updated September 29, 2026. The Camo Costume Party ends on October 8, and the timer in your Events menu is the one that counts. A full clear of all four modes is not something you can start now and finish in time.
Oozed is the secret camo of the Camo Costume Party, the Black Ops 7 Season 6 camo event, and it is the one reward in the event you only get by finishing everything. Here is exactly how to unlock it, the fastest order to run it in, and how long you have.
What is the Oozed camo?
Oozed is the ninth camo of the Camo Costume Party. Activision listed it in the Season 06 camo checklist without saying how it unlocks, and it turned out to be the event's secret mastery camo: the reward for finishing all four mode mastery camos.
Black Ops 7 has done this twice before. Escalation Directive in February hid Incandescence behind every challenge, and Illicit Cargo in June hid Cherry Fizz the same way. Oozed is this season's version, and like those two it is the rarest camo of the season, because almost nobody finishes all four modes before the clock runs out.
Is there Dark Matter in Black Ops 7?
No. Dark Matter was the top Multiplayer mastery camo in Black Ops 3, Black Ops 4 and Black Ops 6, and Black Ops 7 replaced it with Singularity. So if you searched for Dark Matter in BO7, there is no camo by that name to unlock. If it is the look you are after rather than the name, Oozed is the closest thing in BO7 right now: it looks like Dark Matter, only better, with glossy violet and electric blue running over the whole gun. The catch is the clock. Singularity stays in the game, Oozed is gone when the Camo Costume Party ends on October 8.
How to unlock Oozed
Finish the mastery camo of all four modes in the event. Each mode has nine weapon class challenges, and clearing all nine gives that mode's animated mastery camo:

The weapon classes are the same in every mode: Assault Rifles, SMGs, Shotguns, LMGs, Marksman Rifles, Sniper Rifles, Pistols, Launchers and Specials, and Melee. Oozed sits on top of the whole event, so by the time it unlocks you own every other Camo Costume Party camo as well:

That makes nine camos in total with Oozed, four of them animated. The four mastery camos are universal, so they go on any gun you carry, and each one pays 10,000 XP. On top of that comes the Arcblade melee weapon, which only needs nine challenges from anywhere in the event, so it is yours long before Oozed is.

The fastest order to run it
- Start with Zombies. It has the biggest numbers in the event, 500 eliminations in three different challenges and 250 Pack-a-Punch melee kills, so it takes the longest. Get it moving while you still have weeks, not days.
- Then Co-Op and Endgame. The challenges need specific targets, Guild Tech, Fear, Special and Elite enemies, so plan each session around one or two of them instead of hoping they tick along.
- Then Multiplayer. The streak challenges, kills without dying and without taking damage, are the ones that stall. Objective modes with a spot you can hold help most.
- Finish with Warzone. It has the shortest list in the event, five sniper headshots, one bounty target with a pistol, so it is the easiest one to squeeze into the last days.
The Arcblade drops after your first nine challenges, so it will be yours long before Oozed is.
How long you have
The event ends on October 8. Activision never published an end date, and the reported hours differ, so trust the timer in your Events menu. The in-game countdown read 20 days and 20 hours late on September 17, which lands on that date, and GameRant reported the same time. When the event closes, Oozed goes with it, there is no earning it later.
What Oozed looks like
Oozed looks like the Dark Matter camo from Black Ops 6 and the Black Ops games before it, only better: glossy violet and electric blue that moves over the whole gun like liquid, with hot pink streaks catching the light. Next to the four mode mastery camos it is the loudest finish of the event, and the one that tells everyone you finished all four modes. Does Oozed carry into Modern Warfare 4?
No source says it does. Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23 with its own camo progression, two weeks after the event ends, so treat Oozed as a Black Ops 7 and Warzone camo.
Not going to finish 36 challenges in time?
