How to Get the Oozed Camo in BO7: The Secret Camo Costume Party Reward

Oozed is the secret camo of the Camo Costume Party, the Black Ops 7 Season 6 camo event, and it is the one reward in the event you only get by finishing everything. Here is exactly how to unlock it, the fastest order to run it in, and how long you have.

What is the Oozed camo?

Oozed is the ninth camo of the Camo Costume Party. Activision listed it in the Season 06 camo checklist without saying how it unlocks, and it turned out to be the event's secret mastery camo: the reward for finishing all four mode mastery camos.

Black Ops 7 has done this twice before. Escalation Directive in February hid Incandescence behind every challenge, and Illicit Cargo in June hid Cherry Fizz the same way. Oozed is this season's version, and like those two it is the rarest camo of the season, because almost nobody finishes all four modes before the clock runs out.

How to unlock Oozed

Finish the mastery camo of all four modes in the event. Each mode has nine weapon class challenges, and clearing all nine gives that mode's animated mastery camo:

All four done means all 36 challenges done, and that is what unlocks Oozed. The weapon classes are the same in every mode: Assault Rifles, SMGs, Shotguns, LMGs, Marksman Rifles, Sniper Rifles, Pistols, Launchers and Specials, and Melee. On the way you also pick up the base camo of each mode, the four animated mastery camos, 10,000 XP per mastery camo, and the Arcblade melee weapon, which only needs nine challenges from anywhere in the event.

The fastest order to run it

1. Start with Zombies. It has the biggest numbers in the event, 500 eliminations in three different challenges and 250 Pack-a-Punch melee kills, so it takes the longest. Get it moving while you still have weeks, not days.
2. Then Co-Op and Endgame. The challenges need specific targets, Guild Tech, Fear, Special and Elite enemies, so plan each session around one or two of them instead of hoping they tick along.
3. Then Multiplayer. The streak challenges, kills without dying and without taking damage, are the ones that stall. Objective modes with a spot you can hold help most.
4. Finish with Warzone. It has the shortest list in the event, five sniper headshots, one bounty target with a pistol, so it is the easiest one to squeeze into the last days.

The Arcblade drops after your first nine challenges, so it will be yours long before Oozed is.

How long you have

The event ends on October 8 at 10 AM PT. The in-game countdown read 20 days and 20 hours late on September 17, which lands on that date, and GameRant reported the same time. When the event closes, Oozed goes with it, there is no earning it later.

Does Oozed carry into Modern Warfare 4?

No source says it does. Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23 with its own camo progression, two weeks after the event ends, so treat Oozed as a Black Ops 7 and Warzone camo.
