MW4 DMZ Lieutenant Boss Hunts

An MW4 DMZ Lieutenant hunt is a hand-played boss run in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ. A verified pro gets the intel on the Lieutenant you want, kills them in Hajin and extracts with their dog tags, so your Boss Board fills up and any customized weapon they carry comes home with you.

Who the Lieutenants are

The Hundred Spirits hold the exclusion zone, and their Lieutenants lead the specialized units inside it. They are hired foreign fighters, and Infinity Ward has said they are operators from earlier Call of Duty games, so expect a few faces you know and a fight that does not care about that. They are very tough by design, and they do not fight alone: hit an area hard enough and the faction answers with reinforcements, up to attack helicopters. Boss Board or Hunt Tower: how you find them

The Boss Board narrows down where your chosen Lieutenant is. The Hunt Tower gives you whoever is nearest. We use whichever route is faster for your target. Buying intel costs cash, which is why many hunts pair with an MW4 DMZ cash boost.

The kill is only half the job

Killing a Lieutenant drops their dog tags, and those tags only count once you extract with them. Rival squads can track you through the tags you are carrying, so the exfil is usually the real fight, not the boss. That is where hunts tend to fall apart, and where a pro who has already planned the way out earns their keep.

• The Lieutenant you named, taken down
• Their dog tags extracted, which populates your Boss Board
• Their uniquely customized weapon when they carry one, attachments and camo finish included

Boost it or hunt them yourself?

If your squad can handle a boss and then hold an exfil against players tracking your tags, hunt them yourself. It is some of the best content in the mode. Book a hunt when you want one specific Lieutenant's weapon, when you play solo, or when you keep making the kill and losing the tags on the way out. Want the human targets instead of the AI ones? Platforms and sign-in

Bookable on PC (Battle.net and Steam), PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Piloted means a verified pro plays on your account with your login, on PC in offline mode through a VPN matched to your region. Rather not share your login? On PS5 you can use PlayStation QR sign-in instead. Self-play means the pros fill your squad and you play along. Real raids, no cheats, no tools.

Modern Warfare 4 is out, and DMZ opened three days before it, on October 20. We confirm which Lieutenants and how many hunts in your order chat, and the hunts start as soon as a booster is assigned.

Lieutenants or Commanders?

Lieutenants are the named operatives: own weapons, own camo finishes, and dog tags that populate your Boss Board once you extract with them.
