Those totals follow the Modern Warfare 3 model, where the final weapon prestige camo sat at 900,000 weapon XP past max level. Weapon prestige in MW4 isn't officially confirmed, and Activision hasn't said whether weapon prestige or player prestige unlocks the set, so read them as expected. Prestige camos are not mastery camos
MW4 has two separate camo sets. The nine mode mastery camos, like Chiral, Parallax or Orion Reforged, come from camo challenges in Multiplayer, Warzone and DMZ. Pre-order and delivery
Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23, and pre-orders sit in the launch-week queue. MW3 only got weapon prestige with Season 3 Reloaded, so if MW4 doesn't have it on day one, your guns get leveled at launch and the four steps start once it goes live. Is Pyroclast Cascade the hardest camo in MW4?
Too early to call. The challenges for MW4's nine mode mastery camos aren't announced, so there's nothing to compare yet. Under the expected MW3 model, Cascade is the longest step of the prestige set: another 300,000 weapon XP on top of the 600,000 before it, per gun. Across a whole class that adds up fast.
Are the Pyroclast camos the same as mastery camos?
No. The Pyroclast set is a separate prestige set, apart from the nine mode mastery camos like Chiral, Parallax or Orion Reforged. What if my gun isn't max level yet, or I already have some XP?

When does my order start?
Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23, and pre-orders start at launch.
