An MW4 Pyroclast Scatter camo boost takes the guns you pick through three of the four Modern Warfare 4 prestige camos: Pyroclast, Pyroclast Verge and Pyroclast Scatter. A verified pro levels guns below max first, then plays them past max level by hand, and weapon XP you already have comes off the price.

What is Pyroclast Scatter?

Pyroclast Scatter covers the gun in a faceted black surface that catches the light, flecked with small green sparks. It's the one that trades the cracks for a sharper, darker finish. Activision showed it as step 3 of four in its Prestige Mastery Camo Showcase, after Pyroclast and Pyroclast Verge and before Pyroclast Cascade. The set is separate from the nine mode mastery camos.

What happens to each gun in a Scatter order

1. Below max level? The pro levels it to max first, Apex Attachment included.
2. Pyroclast, the first prestige step, expected at 150,000 weapon XP past max level.
3. Pyroclast Verge, expected after another 200,000.
4. Pyroclast Scatter, expected after another 250,000, so 600,000 weapon XP past max level in total.

That's the Modern Warfare 3 model, where the third step was a camo called Mercury. Read the numbers as expected, not confirmed: weapon prestige in MW4 isn't officially confirmed, and Activision hasn't said whether weapon prestige or player prestige unlocks the set. Scatter or all the way to Cascade?

Scatter is the pick if you like the dark finish more than Cascade's glossy green. Going all the way adds one more step per gun, the longest one under the MW3 model at another 300,000 weapon XP. How your order is set up

Add guns one by one or a whole class, and set each gun's level, or its last Pyroclast step and the weapon XP toward the next. Guns can start at different points in the same order, one fresh and one already at Verge, and each only pays for the steps it still needs. Your booster checks the XP in game before starting. Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23. Pre-order now and your guns are in the launch-week queue.
